Why We No Longer Carry HHC Products

At Humanity Health CBD, we work hard to stay current with both federal and Indiana laws regarding hemp-derived cannabinoids.

As of 2026, HHC (Hexahydrocannabinol) is considered a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law and Indiana law. Because of these legal changes, HHC products can no longer be legally sold in Indiana.

For that reason, we have removed all HHC products from our shelves and online catalog.

What Happened?

HHC was originally marketed as a hemp-derived cannabinoid that many believed fell within a legal gray area. However, federal regulators have since clarified that HHC is a Schedule I controlled substance. In May 2026, the DEA formally amended its regulations to specifically list HHC as a Schedule I substance, stating that it was already controlled under existing federal law.

Can I Still Buy HHC in Indiana?

No.

Indiana classifies Schedule I substances as illegal to possess, manufacture, or distribute unless specifically authorized by law. Because HHC is treated as a Schedule I controlled substance, we do not sell or stock HHC products.
